This page explains what personal data PropOS collects through this website, when you book a call with us, and when we contact people at property management companies on LinkedIn: why we collect it, who handles it, and what you can do about it.
It does not cover the PropOS app. A section for app users will be added to this page.
Who is responsible
PropOS is responsible for the personal data described on this page. PropOS is being set up as a company. Once it is registered, its details will appear here.
For anything about your data, write to privacy@propos.tech.
What we collect and why
- When you visit this website: Our hosting provider records technical data for every page request: your IP address, browser, the page requested and the time. We use it to keep the site running and secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a working, secure website.
- Analytics, only if you accept: If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, Mixpanel records anonymous usage such as pages viewed and buttons clicked, on its servers in the EU. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time on the Cookies page.
- When you book a call: When you book through Calendly, we receive your name, your email address, the time you chose and your answers to the booking questions, for example how many properties you manage. We use them to hold the call and follow up on it. Legal basis: steps you asked for before a possible contract, and our legitimate interest in answering you.
- When we contact you on LinkedIn: We may send a LinkedIn message to people who work at property management companies that may find PropOS useful. We use what is on their public LinkedIn profile and their company's website: name, job title and company. We use it only to introduce PropOS and to follow up. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in reaching businesses for whom PropOS is relevant.
- When you write to us: If you email us or reply to a message, we keep the conversation so we can answer you and remember what we discussed. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you.
We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we share it only with the service providers listed below.
Service providers
- Vercel: hosts this website (United States).
- Mixpanel: analytics, only with your consent (EU servers).
- Calendly: call booking (United States).
- Google Workspace: our email (United States).
When a provider handles data outside the EU, the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Hosting records: for as long as our hosting provider keeps them, usually a few days to a few weeks.
- Analytics: until you withdraw your consent, and no longer than Mixpanel keeps our project's data.
- Booking details: up to 24 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer.
- People we contacted who do not reply: deleted within 12 months of our last message.
If you ask us not to contact you again, we keep only your name and company name on a do-not-contact list, so that we can respect your request.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, or to give it to you in a portable format. You can object at any time to our use of your data for contacting you, and we will stop. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To use any of these rights, write to privacy@propos.tech. To stop our messages, you can also simply reply "no". We answer within one month.
Complaints
If you think we handle your data wrongly, please tell us first at privacy@propos.tech. You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr) or to the data protection authority of the EU country where you live or work.
Changes to this page
When we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date at the top.
